Student battle of the bands

From October 15th we are running an Oxford Student battle of the bands at the Purple Turtle (when I say Oxford I mean the city not the Uni only). We are looking for the next big thing! We need as many bands as possible to enter. We will then choose the best 15 student bands to enter the competition. Over 7 weeks of judged gigs we will choose the winning band.

At the moment I can announce that we are offering the following prizes for the winning band:

Recording and mastering of one track at Decibel studios
A mastered live recording from the final
A realease on Alcopop Records
A headline gig @ The Purple Turtle
A gig @ The Social in London
A case of beer!
and there is more to come!! I will anounce the rest of the prizes as soon as I get confirmation. So if you're a student band or know of a student band then enter or pass this on!
