I will dig out the legendary Ron Grainer disco Dr Who theme.

I have a vague recollection of being told about a slow, mournful piano version of the Dr. Who theme.
but I can't remember what was said.
or in what context.
it might have something to do with Ric.

I like to think of it as my romantic version of the Dr. Who theme.

The most, erm, interesting versions can be found on the "Worlds of Doctor Who" compilation (interspersed with some shocking incidental music from the 80's). These are the "lightning version", featuring lots of pauses for dramatic thunderclaps, and the "spoons version", featuring Sylvester McCoy. On the spoons, naturally.
I'd still probably get banned for playing them at a clubnight, though.

I don't suppose any of you had anything to do with said disco version of doctor who being played at the cellar on thursday this week?
It's a very big coincidence.
almost too big...

I hear no spoons on the spoons one, just a really bad trancey cover.
